Saturday November 2nd brings thankfulness for extremely windy weather that keeps us warm indoors. This morning I set out with a goal to go to the bank. We couldnt drive there because the car seats were in the other car. So the idea of a Autumn walk graced me. I saw the aftermath of an evening of rain and wind and checked out the window periodically to see leaves dancing and swirling upwards in a tornado like movement. So we waited, and waited, and even were cautioned by the Emergency Broadcast System that warned of high winds advisory until the mid afternoon. Here we were, desiring to go out but forced to stay in. (Who really wants to open the door to the sniffles and sneezes of little people and missed days of school..?) I am thankful for the warmth, the comfort, and the time to spend indoors as we watch the windy weather outside wance, whip, and whirl around. What your you thank ful for today?
