Saturday... a day of rest and relaxation. Usual morning chores done. Plants and flowers watered - nine watering cans worth! Lawns mowed - green bins almost chock full now. Rabbits hutch emptied, fumigated, cleaned, changed & aired. Children mollified with expensive trip to local car boot sale. Chapter editing partially completed. * now a quick well-deserved beer break * Then: kids lunch - half a ton of food for them to ignore. Take kids out for a walk round the village. Repair and refill pea planters and plant peas (very late!) Weeding and pruning. More editing if schedule permits. Ending at teatime with to the parents house for a BBQ. :-)
