Saturday am....Everyday of life here on earth God is extending His aid to us...We panic as we start to run out of rope oblivious to the fact that His Hand is right under us ready and willing to catch us when we fall...If only you knew He whispers quietly...In the Bible Mark tells us that during the storm Jesus saw His followers in the boat struggling....through the storm He saw them....He waited and at the right time He came...Why does he wait? Why does He wait until the money runs out...Why does He wait until the sickness approaches fatal...Even when we hear nothing God is speaking....He is putting the pieces of the puzzle together...With God there are no accidents...Every incident in our lives is designed to bring us closer to Him...The direct route from Egypt to Israel would take about eleven days by foot...but God took the Isralites on the long road which took 40 years....Why would He do that? Because He wanted them to learn to trust Him...because He wanted them to love Him and Him alone...There are certain passions that God wants us to learn that only happen through the avenue of pain....Just as His disciples struggled in the boat during the storm....so do we....and we do exactly what they did...we row...rowing isnt easy...its boring...doing the same thing over and over.....Much of our lives down here on earth is spent rowing...going to work...changing diapers...putting up with BS....caught up in earthly drama from friends and family....paying bills...on and on it goes...Dont give up on God....Dont lay down the oars....Theres no short cut to The Relationship that leads to the Summitt...We all have to spend time wandering in the desert and rowing through the storm...Its just part of living on the planet...God wants us to love Him and only Him....Have a blessed day....LYFBF.
