Saturday for me was a day of fun, sweet memories, loving people, good food, collective good-will, and joy. It has been a long time since I saw so few frowns among so many people for that length of time. 70-75 people came, and I am pretty sure mom was able to see and talk to everyone. It turned out that instead of activities and events, you each took it upon yourselves to personally spend time with her. It was each of you - not the party or any part of it - that truly honored, celebrated, and showed love to my mom! Thank You to everyone who was able to attend the party or send a card for my mothers 85th. A special thank you to you who donated your precious time and resources. And a PARTICULAR thank you to you who rolled up your sleeves and pitched in to help with clean-up.
