Saturday night I lost a great friend. Mack Edwards died with a massive heart attack. He did not suffer, but my heart is with Linda, Mike, Stevie, Charlie, and those grandchildren Mack adored. He will be missed by all who knew him. A caring and Christian man who understood good in all, never put on airs, and always extended a hand to those in need. I, along with all those who knew him, will miss him terribly and only wish our love and gratitude to his family for all his generosities. As Daryl Brown said at Guyton Methodist yesterday, Guyton has lost an icon. Peace to you Mr. Mack. Job well done.
