Saturday night I went to the service @ Faith Christian Community Church in Anchorage. Earlier today I went to the 10:00 am service @ Christ Community Church & the 12:00 pm (Noon) service @ Anchorage City Church. Tonight, I will be going back over to Eagle River to check out the Eagle River Church of God 6:00 pm service. At least Im getting things narrowed down regarding my new church situation. Once my car does get here, then I can focus on the rest of my remaining list of churches to visit. Until then, during my carless period, this coming weekend & all the way until I do get my hands back on the wheel of my Equinox, @ least for now, I know I can call upon the Church Van Ministries of either Anchorage City Church or Faith Christian Community Church to get a ride to their churches for the weekend services. Im happy about that. I guess somewhere in the back of my mind, as I had been planning out all these church visits, I should have known from the get go, once I found out that the Prayer Focus Kick-off Night event thingy back on Jan 24th for the Luis Palau Love Alaska summer outreach event was being held there @ Anchorage City Church, that it was held there @ their building for a reason! The Anchorage City Churchs pastor is definitely Spirit filled & Spirit led. I got the same Holy Spirit heat prickles all over me today during the worship time @ Anchorage City Church just like I did during the worship time @ Abbott Loop Community Church back on Jan 26th. So, yes, so far I do believe I have narrowed down my original church list for revisits, down to: Abbott Loop, Anchorage City Church, & Faith Christian Community Church. Gary Smith, you would have liked the service today also @ Anchorage City Church if you had been there & seen the pastor with his guitar as he was using it to sing through one of the Psalms that was in a nearby passage that was related to what he was preaching on today.
