Saturday night fever gun here. GUN WILL END AT 10:06 PM tonight! This gun deserves lots of pics and description, so I added 16 pics and lots of words. Please take a peek at it. You may NEVER get to bid on another one this nice if you looked for years. This is a 1976 Remington 742 Woodsmaster BDL Deluxe in 30-06 caliber. I will share with you that the gentleman I got it from relayed that it was shot only 4 times in its life, and it ABSOLUTLEY looks like it to me. This is a time capsule gun. It came to me in a case that looks like it is from the same time period as well, and the gun will leave here in it if reserve is met too. This gun has NEVER had a sling or scope mounted on it or been modified in any way whatsoever. It looks like it did when Jimmy Carter was President of The USA. Even the butt stock black Remington signature plate looks like it has never ben rested on the ground, floor, etc. None of the screws on the gun appear to have ever been turned on it. There arent spots where a screwdriver slipped or marred the paint in the screw heads. The stock is a BEAUTIFUL Monte Carlo style, and the stock is a flawless basket weave in the pattern the BDL Deluxe guns got, and it also has the black tip forearm as it should as well. The bluing is marvelous, the wood is high end furniture craftsman quality! The receivers are beautiful ,the bolt looks like it hasnt been shot, the removable mag looks great with only a tiny mark on it from being loaded into the receiver bottom of the weapon. Awfully nice weapon! The finish on the gun just glistens and gleams with a beautiful glow! If you are a lover/collector/hobbyist/hunter/shooter you will have to give this gun a close look and bid on its condition and smile. I am PICKY as a gun hobbyist, and this gun is top notch. You are guaranteed to be thrilled with this gun when you see it in person, or DONT pay me for it! This is a ZERO disappointment gun. I never grade any gun 100% and I share only my truthful interpretations of a guns condition so you can bid and buy in confidence from me. This gun is dang close though to 100%. I will back it up a couple points based on the fact that it has been handled and shot previously, and the fact that even factory NEW guns might have a mar in the finish on them etc. Again, if you win it, and dont love it, dont pay me, no problem. I am confident in the gun winning your love in person. I have uploaded 16 pictures of it for you to judge it by, It doesnt have a bad side to show you. This gun was someones pride and joy for 39 years, and it clearly shows the TLC and attention it was given in those years. You can enjoy this gun as a bench rifle, safe queen, hunting weapon, but for goodness sakes, please pamper it as lovingly as the previous owner did. You just DO NOT see these guns in the condition this one is in ,EVER! You are bidding on a true 4 leaf clover here, and those dont come along. Silent reserve. Washington mo. Ill take guns as trade or partial trades on it. Buy it now would be $597 on it. Gun, guns, plus cash are workable options.
