Saturday the 13th of Dec14 turned up to be a saviour day!!! Heres another (interesting??) incident. Venue; R.K.Mission,: Asansol. Two jungle babblers got entangled in a nylon net which was laid down in an area inside the R.k.Mission premises. Some devotional function was in full swing. The plight of these birds was noted by Mr. Santanu Pramanick,(right hand side in the second pic) who was one of the guests. (Mr. Pramanick is an accomplished artist and a person of great talent. He is a very well known personality in his field and my daughter is his student). He rushed to their rescue. Some monks (Maharajas and Swamijis) also noted this, but unfortunately they stayed away- which is very surprising and sad.One of the two birds was entangled critically. Mr. Pramanick did not have any tools to cut the net as it was impossible to de-entangle the net. Somehow a razor blade was managed and after a considerable effort with the help of his friends the birds were freed. Hats off to you Sanatanu Da.... May God Bless you and your friends. You have actually served God while the people in saffron ignored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
