Saturday was a busy day. I started off the morning by attending the Right to Life Lifespan Fall Breakfast and presented a legislative update there as well. Then it was off to Ferndale to visit with the folks at Credit Union One who were celebrating the 75th anniversary of the credit union. There is a branch in Troy on Rochester Road as well as one in Troy Beaumont Hospital. Next up was office hours at the Troy Library. I always enjoy this opportunity to converse with people about the goings on in the community and in state government. I have a few more office hours coming up this month. Please feel free to stop by and say hello. Finally, I wrapped up the day with a visit to the Clawson Block Party. This was another fun, family-friendly event in the "Little City with a Big Heart". There are so many exciting things happening in Clawson! And it is always good to see Mayor Luebs and Clawson city council.
