Saudi Arabia is prosperous because all motorists need gas and the Saudis have plenty of gas. More people need and use computers and android devices. All these devices depend on minerals found almost exclusively in the Congo and other parts of Africa not known for being prosperous. Why? My belief is that one reason for this is that African elites have many champions among some leftists in the West while the African masses have no such champions.
