Sauerkraut casserole 9+13 pan, 1 1/2- 2 inches sauerkraut spread evenly in pan. Cook up 1 1/2 pounds bulk sausage, I use red pepper flakes and pepper to make it zesty. Do not have to use if you like it mild. Brown and drain. Put on top of sauerkraut evenly. Put mashed potatoes on top. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes. I have used instant mashed potatoes and they work fine. When done juice will be bubbling on side. Potatoes will be Browning.
