Sausage Gravy n Biscuits ... Nuff said :D The Texas Chef #sausagegravy #biscuitsnsausagegravy I gotta be honest, as a Canadian Ive never made this or tried it .. looks incredible so its definitely on my to do list SOON!!! I must have been a Southerner, more specifically Texan in a previous life lol I LOOOOOOOVE this kind of food!! This is definitely something that will stick to your ribs on cold mornings... Sausage Gravy 1/2-1 pound of ground sausage depending on how you like it...you can get mild or hot...I like the mild over medium heat place sausage in a deep skillet and cook until browned making sure to break meat up with a fork or spoon to make bite size pieces when sausage is cooked add enough flour to the pan and stir to form a light paste...you are making roux reduce heat to medium low and add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups chicken broth and 1/2 cup cream stir to combine completely salt and pepper to taste and you can actually add a little sage to it if you like continue stirring until it comes to a boil and thickens if it is too thick add a little more broth...if it is too thin add a little more roux...
