Save A Life Sunday PLEASE SHARE 💖JUNE BUG💖 We first received this message about June Bug on December 17th. Since this original message, her foster mom has taken her to be fully vetted, had her bad tooth extracted, and had her skin condition treated. Theyve spent over $600 just to get this girl healthy, and shes not even their dog, shes a foster. This story truly touched our hearts and we want to help. June Bug is amazing with other dogs. Bulletproof with kids of all ages. And just needs a home of her own. PLEASE share her story. Her foster family has gone above and beyond and we are honored to help find her a forever home. If youre interested in adopting June Bug, please message us so that we can send you an adoption application. Shes in the Monterey area but can be driven anywhere within reason. Check out what her foster mom has to say about her... This sweet girl was being given away on a buy/sell/trade facebook page. The girl had found her as a stray in King City and couldnt keep her. I convinced her the Monterey County SPCA was her best chance and would find her a good home. She had no way of getting her to the SPCA so I drove 50 minutes to pick her up and about 45 to the SPCA. She was very timid but loving. We had to pick her up to get her in and out of the car and through doorways. She clearly had a very small world. Although she was terrified and shaking she showed no signs of aggression. She was thin SPCA has her weigh in at 35 lbs. And had sores on her feet and a scab between her eyes. After her stray hold was up I called to check on her and was told she did great on her evaluation but they didnt finish for some reason. The next morning I got a call telling me she was too scared to go on the adoption floor and was scheduled for euthanasia that day. I had a few hours to find a rescue to help her. Nearly impossible, especially for a bully breed. By the end of the day I had no luck and ended up using credit to pay her adoption fee. I could not let her die there. She deserves a decent life. Something Im sure she hasnt had. We picked her up Nov. 2nd and have been trying to find a rescue to help since. She has a fractured tooth that needs extracting. We cant afford to put any more money towards her vetting. I have a 13 year old Minpin and 4 year old pit mix who she gets along with beautifully. I also have a 17 year old, 6 year old, 1 year old and our last baby due April 1st. I am so limited on time already and when the baby is born I wont have time for June. She loves the kids and all people shes met. Were working on potty training and taught her sit. She is not used to leashes or the outside world. When I have time I take her out front on leash and just walk around a bit. She needs someone with more time but we can foster until March. PLEASE help us and more importantly June! I want her to have the best chance possible backed by rescue the rest of her life! Thank you for what you do everyday for dogs just like June. She is 3-4 years old, about 50 lbs. Now, Spayed, microchipped, and utd on shots. Jennifer Houser two2toned@yahoo 831-229-1688
