The evening begins with socializing and viewing the silent auction items at 6:00pm. Presentations will include a review by UEC Program Director Kevin Mueller of our Forest Monitoring Program work to protect the National Forests in Utah from mining, drilling, logging, and grazing. Our keynote speaker is attorney Jay Tutchton who will speak on “The Endangered Species Act and the Future of Wolf Recovery in the West.” Tutchton serves as a litigator, working primarily on Endangered Species Act issues since 1990. He currently works for Defenders of Wildlife and is Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he teaches Wildlife Law and Animal Law. Enjoy tasty drinks and finger-food while you socialize with fellow forest and wildlife lovers. Bring your checkbook for the great silent auction items. A donation of $20 is requested at the door.
