Save the date!!! Come join the John Dewey High Schooll Robotics teams on December 20, 2014 as they host this years New York and Long Island, First Tech Challenge Cascade Effect. First Tech Challenge is designed for students to compete head to head as teams. Each team is responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. During the build students, teachers, mentors, and volunteers come face to face with challenges, and work together to develop problem solving skills by applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Teams build robots and come up with strategies on ways to play the game and ultimately win a spot in the World Champions. So if you want to see how students are taking on real world problems or just like robots come join us on December 20, 2014.
