Saving Wildwood Victoria Scott, a senior biology major, is working on a placing paw prints of different animals in Radfords Wildwood Park in hopes that children visiting the park will want to learn more about the animals who live there and spend more time in nature. The project is a collective effort of Radford High School biology classes, Lowes, Pathways for Radford, and Radford Universitys Scholar-Citizen Initiative. The idea is for folks to go to park and visit each paw print, then use their mobile device to scan a QR code to play a game called Saving Wildwood. IN the game, the park is threatened and the participants must try to locate, identify and rescue as many animals as possible.
