Saw Dr. Steiger today and had my ultrasound. First off, I was so - TopicsExpress

Saw Dr. Steiger today and had my ultrasound. First off, I was so appreciative on how professional his office was, and they were patient with the fact that I was a stressed mess because of the crap Naval had been handing me. Now, I went to see him because not only do I have thrombocytopenia, but my baby reportedly had a brain ventricle that was teetering on the boarderline between average and abnormally enlarged size (according to naval). Come to find out, Dr. Steigers office checked and rechecked the ventricle sizes - one set of measurements were slightly above high average but still less than what Naval found, and the second set of measurements sat in the normal range. He is still labelling him as possibly having ventriculomegaly, still wants to check up on the lil man in three weeks and do some genetic testing in the mean time, but I after ten weeks of stress I can finally breathe! I will continue to pray for the best possible outcome, but I wanted to share this with you all :) here are some pictures of my son Vinson, who is now 21 months old and his brothers ultrasound pics from today... practically twins lol
