Saw #FindingFanny. Sweet, different & quirky. Its a simple story, extremely well told by Homi Adajania. All actors play their part effortlessly, obviously, butt what stands out are the tharki one-liners by #PankajKapur & the sparkling performance by #DeepikaPadukone. The background score by Mathias Duplessy is superb, aided by apt songs by Sachin-Jigar. What is just wow, is the production & art design by Manisha Khandelwal. Really loved the love scene between Deepika-Arjun and especially the character arc progression of Deepika. Kudos to her for agreeing to do this film, so that the economics could come together and the filmmaker could make it like this. Also what should be learnt from Homi, is that he had to make a #Cocktail after #BeingCyrus, so that he could make Finding Fanny. Thats being practical & smart. Also a special hello to Anjali Patil, who made a surprising special appearance. I hope Fox will push this film outside India and get more non-Indian audiences to sample this Indian film which thankfully does not focus on poverty & slums.
