Saw Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters last night. Its not as bad as I thought it would be, the action scenes are quite fun to watch. Its very gory, some of it a bit cartoony but still quite fun gore none-the-less. Famke Janssen steals the show in this movie (from X-men, Dr. Jean Grey) as this evil witch. Gemma Arterton is very good in her role, but I thought Jeremy Renner (who I usually like) was a bit mediocre in his role here. He couldnt really say his lines of dialogue that well...... The special effects are impressive and it looks good. All in all, its quite a good time to be had. There are some flaws to it but so what, I enjoyed myself which is the key thing (and I wasnt expecting to). Overall: 6.5/10= Not that bad at all and quite entertaining. Famke Janssen electrifies in her role, recommend on that alone!
