Saw Unbroken yesterday... Didnt care for it. I just felt like actor who played Louie wasnt fully invested at all times. Some of his outbursts of frustration were completely erratic, and had no build. I just found myself, as an audience member, continually asking what I was waiting for. How do you expect me to keep watching someone tortured for 2 hours straight, when their tactic for dealing with the pain is closing themselves off? I have a lot of trouble empathizing for someones struggle I cant see. Overall not a horrible film, but I dont think Id recommend it.
