Saw a couple of very interesting movies recently. The first, Inherent Vice, is a brilliantly bizarre picture that was also surprisingly funny - probably more laugh-out-loud moments than Ive seen in anything recently. Brilliant acting from Joaquin Phoenix. The second, Into the Woods was...*okay*. Songs and acting are good and all, but it feels an awful lot like a really interesting, dark, macabre story with most of the dark, macabre parts of it cut out. Which from reading the wikipedia page is pretty much exactly what it is. Nice job, Disney.
