Saw a fella post a neat article about his goto axe for out in the woods and such (A Husqvarna Carpenters Axe) so I thought Id share my current goto axe as well. The Fiskers X15 is not the most elegant, or most sought after bushcraft or trapper axe. It does however do everything I need it to and does it very well in a packable size no less. This thing makes chunks the size of my fist fly almost every time I chop wood with it. Its very affordable on top of all that chopping performance! The only thing negative I can say about it is that the sheath that comes with it is too bulky for a backpack so I made this simple kydex one to replace it.
