Saw an incredibly sad post from Glenn Beck where students were being taught the truth about Islam in school. Keep in mind, we dont know what grade, what class, what school, or even what setting, but people were in an uproar for the fact that people in the United States were even learning about the truth of Islam to being with; calling Muslims terrorists and saying they have no place here. And in the same sentence, they say May God bless this country and may we point it back to Him. Lately, God has been placing on my heart how loving Him is a direct correlation to loving others. There is no excuse. So to my Muslim friends in South Africa and at EMU, I am so sorry for the hatred and ignorance that you have had to endure, specifically from the American people in the name of God. Praying that the love we claim to have for others doesnt pick and choose who to love, especially when it comes to debunking a religion the media has done an excellent job lying to us about. Prayers and love to my Muslim friends this morning.
