Saw two horror movies yesterday that have been on my list for a while. I preferred Army of Darkness over Evil Dead 2. I found Evil Dead 2 pretty boring and dated, but I can appreciate the significance it had on the genre, and I still love Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Cabin in the Woods was wonderful. A great split between horror and comedy, with a good twist to horror films in general. I recommend it to anyone who is a horror fan, if only to see how it shakes up the genre.
