Say: O People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians)! Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah. If then they turn back, say ye: Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allahs Will). (The Quran, 3:64) AND ALLAH ALMIGHTY DECLARED IN QURAN... O mankind! [this includes all races and all nations] We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes , that ye may know each other. Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well-acquainted. (The Quran, 49:13) Allah Almighty created all mankind with different races, mentality and beliefs... AND The most honoured of them in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of them, It is not important one should have a muslim name but he/she should be most righteous. Dont forget it that All Muslims may not be the followers of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and all followers of Prophet (pbuh) may not be muslim. A TRUE MUSLIM- Give for the LOVE OF ALLAH financial support to kinsfolk, the orphans, the poor, and the wayfarer. (Pious is the one who) gives (help) to those who ask (for help), and (spends money) to free slaves. And (pious are those who) establish ‘salat’, pay the ‘zakat’, and fulfill the pledges made by them. Those who endure and display fortitude during poverty and adversity, and during times of crises. Such are the people who are sincere! Such are the pious ones See verses 2:177, 2:215, 2:83, 2:220, 9:24, 17:26, 90:11-17. NO NEED TO TAKE A MUSLIM NAME BE RIGHTOUS AND SHOULD NOT... 1. a hostile enemies to ALLAH , HIS RELIGION AND HIS PROPHETS. 2- a polytheists, and should not associate partners with Allah Almighty. 3- a wicked and evil one. Also, not hypocrites and liars and other evil types. May Allah forgive and honoured us all... Ameen.
