Say Yes to God Even When It Hurts This morning, Gods presence overwhelmed me. He asked me to say yes to His will. Teaching and at the same time supervising a private elementary school is not easy. I used to encounter problem in school that caused me headache. Children should be instructed many times before they learn their lessons. Children bully and they create problems the same as before. At an angle, the enemy whispers that I made a poor choice of leaving my old work , teaching in the university, where I gave up all my privileges and benefits compared with the sacrifice that entails my vocation in the academy. If you were me, you would be tempted to leave the school and find a better job that fits your qualifications. But theres a greater will than our will - Gods will. I said to God, Yes, Lord, I will follow your will. If you want me to stay, I will stay. After saying, the turbulent sea became calm. Gods will prevailed. There is no greater choice that we can make in this life than to choose the will of God. Its a choice that could calm the raging sea. Its a choice that provides a higher sense of satisfaction. Its a choice that guarantees Gods peace and presence. Learn to say yes to God even when it hurts. Luke 9:23 And he said to all, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. v24For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. v25For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
