Meet Miss Fern Molly and Mr Carter. The Distinguished Gentleman from Virginia—I’m Carter, a very sweet-natured older gentleman with a good deal of Plott Hound in me. As you can see, I have a beautiful brindle coat and can sit and stay for my treats. I also have a traditional booming hound voice, so burglars beware! I was recently rescued from a puppy mill situation, so I’m very wise for my years. I’d love nothing more than a family to call my own. ** Carters best friend at the shelter is Molly. Fern Molly is ready for her forever home! She came in from a situation where she was being bred often and is ready to leave that all behind. Fern Molly is doing great in playgroups with the other dogs and is really warming up to and bonding with people. We would love to place her in a home with other dogs and feel that she would do well as a family dog with kids as well. Fern Molly really is a sweetie.
