Say it loud, Im a black woman and Im proud!! And you black man, should be proud as well! Why? Because every time you look in the mirror you face it, you hate it cause they disgrace it, instead of causing us pain, erase it, we only want to love you, embrace it, cause once you allow yourself to love us, youll never be able to replace it... Despite the pressure to break us, the black woman is like a diamond, multifaceted and flawed, yet full of fire and very forgiving. Thus very deserving of the love so many of you choose to give to other women. Black man, the way you look at, lust after, like and grow to love other women are some of the very reasons black women now question themselves. Am I too dark, maybe if my hair was longer or my eyes were lighter, or if my nose was thinner or my eyes were tighter, perhaps if I were freakier or just let him have his way, maybe if I looked like her, maybe then hell want to stay? Black man, your hate or dislike for the black woman is all designed to weaken your genes which will eventually eradicate our race. That alone is cause for concern, but do you question, no, instead you choose to ignore that lesson. A fruit once forbidden is now force fed and then you ask for seconds. Contrary to the negative imagery real-alley television depicts of black women to the world as who we are are and/or how we act, some are, but many are not. You forget weve lived you, loved you, breathed you as our sole source of strength, but just like the producers took James from Florida, leaving her single and struggling to raise her babies alone, art is now life and the absent black man has become normal, leaving many black women bitter, broken, but still hopeful of betterment.
