Say what you want to about hippies, old or new age, but you cant deny that the whole peace and love idea seems pretty attractive at this point in the states. As we find ourselves in a positively influenced, or fueled, system of violence we must find a way to interrupt this cycle where violence begets more violence. Blame the media, blame the government, blame video games, but you know deep down that you are wrong. Everyone feels wronged at some point in their life, but that individual, unless it is due to some form of psychosis which is a whole different matter unto itself, has to make a conscious decision to physically lash out and cause harm and/or damage. Remember that the institution might provide the fuel, but the person strikes the match. Just how the flame of knowledge can be used to brighten a room one person at a time so can the flames of anger and hate.
