Say youve got a good-looking guy doing your bathroom tile or tiling your floors or kitchen counter or fireplace or... This guy shows up on time every morning with a big thermos of coffee. You are home all day because youre a stay-at-home mom or housewife or youre retired or youre just a lazy bum. This guy works his butt off, does beautiful work, is friendly and likable. You see him with his coffee cup always close at hand. On one of the hundreds of trips as he passes by you on the way outside to use his tile saw you notice he hasnt had coffee for awhile. What do you do? Do you keep a pot on for him all day? Do you offer him a cup or two throughout the day? Do you ignore the lack of coffee or do you simply not even notice that this guy drinks coffee like crazy? Just curious. For me, whenever weve had people working at our house Ive always offered them coffee or a soda or water. I dont necessarily feel the need to feed them, but offering a drink seems like the human being thing to do.
