“Saya menyeru kepada semua penyokong Johor agar jangan lekas putus asa. Berikanlah masa kepada pasukan kita kerana banyak lagi yang perlu diperbetulkan. Teruskan sokongan tidak berbelah bahagi kita kepada pasukan kerana mereka juga amat memerlukannya. Seandainya matlamat kita masih tidak tercapai, itu adalah salah saya dan sebagai Presiden Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Johor, saya akan mengambil tanggungjawab tersebut demi pasukan kita. Saya akan cuba perbetulkan apa jua kelemahan dan ingatlah bahwa pasukan Manchester City contohnya, mereka mengambil mas empat (4) tahun untuk mengecapi kemuncak kejayaan dan begitu juga Paris Saint Germain yang mengambil masa lebih tiga (3) tahun, itupun setelah membuat pelaburan yang besar terhadap pasukan. Give time to our beloved team as we still have a lot to do and mend. Our team need’s your positive support. If we don’t achieve what we have aimed for, the fault is on me to my capacity as the President of Johor Football Association. For the sake of our team, I take the responsibility. I shall rectify whatever weaknesses within and let us look at some examples; take Manchester City, it took them 4 years to savour success and the same goes to Paris Saint Germain that went through a gruesome 3 years after a large amount of investment to their team. Patience is a virtue.
