Saying an extra special prayer tonight for the family of Brian K. Johnson. He lived a life of passion, dedication and love. Cystic Fibrosis is a nasty disease, but he continuously proved the statistics wrong and fought a hard battle. Brian founded CF Riders, a non-profit organization that raises awareness of CF and money to help out with research, care and treatments. Although I cant say we had spoken much over the past few years, I have kept up with CF Riders and the amazing impact it has made. Brian and Christie Byrd Johnson lead my youth group many many years ago. The impact they had on our group was amazing, and I am truly honored for him to gave lead me further into my relationship with Christ. Its hard at a time like this not to be angry with God, but I am smiling because Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Breathe easy, my friend.
