Saying that Ozil had a good or okay game yesterday is so insultive to his ability as a player. Ozil is a WORLD CLASS player and if we now say that he played okay when he countlessly lost possession, often passed the ball to Joburg and snuffed out our attacks, then we are really undermining his ability. If we say his performance was ok then we are suggesting that he is a rubbish or average player, which he is NOT. On a personal level, he is my fav player in the world (only since 2010 when I first saw him play). So, by saying that he was terrible yesterday, which he was, Im not implying that he is a rubbish player or he should never play again or he must be sold and all other negative insinuations. Its a simple, OBJECTIVE observation made by not only me but by many, including professionals - Mesut Ozil was awful yesterday.
