Says: Folks I must say that there have been many times when I needed to watch others to decide what I wanted to do with my life. Early on I watched the influences that coaches had on their players and decided that I would love to be in the coaching profession. It was an extension of my life style that was deeply rooted in baseball, football, track and basketball. It was only natural that I follow my interest by becoming a coach. It was soon understood that my life style would not match up to the salary i was receiving. I simply needed to make more money and do it in much less time. At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each one of us has cause to think with deep thanks of those who have lighted the flame within us. What I am saying is that everyone of us has received help, support, or guidance from other people at particular times in our life when we needed it most. Sometimes another person alters the course of our life through their encouragement, guidance, or just being there at the right time. And then life goes on, and we tend to forget those times when one person touched us or changed our life. Sometimes you dont even realize the impact a person had until well into the future, when you look back on your life and realize that a particular person was pivotal in magically changing the direction of your life for the better. The person may have been that teacher or coach, an uncle, aunt, sibling, grandparent, or any family member. They may have been a doctor, nurse, or best friend. They may have been the person who introduced you to your current partner or to a particular interest where someone you didnt even know, and they appeared in your life very briefly, performing a random act of kindness that touched you to the core. The point I am trying to make is that you need always be concerned with what you are putting out there. It is your responsibility to set a good example for your kids and grand kids. Your example needs to be as positive and uplifting as possible. You can use this process to better YOURSELF. Setting a great example takes determination and hard work. A leader will always do what necessary to take care of his/her crew. When you see people coming and soaking up the positive you will begin to feel great about yourself. What a wonderful concept...... Help others JUST TO HELP YOURSELF. Changing the way you think is EASY...... It is exciting to see the results of JUST CHANGING YOUR MIND AND YOUR WAY OF THINKING. These weeks sure are going by fast. Christmas was just over and now here it is around the corner again. Hope all is well and look forward to seeing you guys out on the town...
