Sayyid Asa’ad hails ferryboat service on Shanna-Masirah route His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, representative of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, hailed the services provided by ferryboats on Shanna-Masirah route, which started operations last week. During one of the journeys to Masirah Island, Sayyid Asaad was briefed about the utilities on the passenger deck and vehicle deck of the new ferry boat, Jawharat Masirah. He praised the improvement in services and quality of services rendered to Omanis, expatriates and tourists, especially as the ferryboats are provided with required conveniences, as well as meeting HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) requirements for the transportation of vehicles and passengers. He also hailed the efforts made to ensure comprehensive development in all parts of the Sultanate under the wise leadership of His Majesty. He affirmed that launching of the modern ferryboats will have a positive impact on Masirah Island and its citizens.
