Scanning headlines, record low turnout at the polls in: SC, NJ, IN, HI, VT, AL, NY, UT and NM. Many counties in CA had record lows too, including Berkley area, LA and San Diego. These are all RECORD lows. Overall, midterms are always lower, but other than a few places reporting average for midterms.... all the Data points to extremely low turnout even for a midterm. No one has crunched the national numbers yet. Wisconsin was the only one I saw with a higher than average. I think the data will support my thinking that averaged, this was one of the most apathetic, abysmal voting cycle ever in the US. ***** You see, no one will ever keep the flag-waving, racist, born-again, tea-baggers from the polls. This fringe group actually runs our country now, aided and abetted by apathetic or disgusted centrists - worse - by the so-called Leftists trying to suppress our voted by this infantile boycott thing that will only lead us to faster fascism. Not only the tea baggers, but the richest will always be at the booth, ensuring their power. They LOVE it when we stay home. GOD DAMN IT!
