Scans today for Emma. They were pushed up because of a hazy section in the lung the last scan. There is no change so the doctor feels Emma is clear as the area is near past radiation and is probably just a damages part of the lung. Emma is now at 8 rounds (two doses over three weeks) of this Chemo. The doc let Emma know they just approved the trial protocol for this drug and the Childrens Oncology Group is recommending giving it for 18 months to two years. As long as Emma is not showing evidence of disease I believe she will keep the treatment going. In other Emma news, we returned from the court house Monday with a decree legally changing Emmas name and gender. Emma is happy as this is who she is and will now be able to be recognized that way.
