Scarlett has behavior issues. We are giving her a while to wind down, chill out and see if we can determine how to best help her. We also must stay safe, as she is a little unpredictable.... She is very beat up, with leg lacerations, scrapes, a cut off tail and she cannot tolerate being touched along her hip, belly or shoulder... which as you can imagine, makes it hard to really handle her well. We dont want to get after her at this point... we dont want to make her behavior worse....we want to give her a chance. We have not determined if she is pregnant or if she recently had a foal taken off of her (hoping it is the latter) She did stand for fly spray and we did get a leg picked up... everything in good time. It is a heartbreaker that is for sure.
