Scarlettes appointment with peds went great today. She wished we were sent early because she could not believe her poor health history but glad we were finally referred. The docs set her up with an allergist for more in depth testing, a dietician afterwards to figure out what to feed her so she is getting all the essential nutrients. The doc mentioned her liver is sitting abnormally low(this could be due to so many lung infections (lung inflammation)) but she ll look more into to find out for sure. She had some blood work today to check for celiac disease, also to check her iron and hemoglobin. She prescribed a new puffer besides her ventolin to take. She was so great with baby. We are excited for the next step and for more answers:) & so proud of little pumpkin! Such a trooper!
