Scary, Scary phone call just a few minutes ago! Although Amira has her appointment to have chemo under anesthesia (this is the one where they deliver it by lumbar injection in the surgery room), it looks like we have an appointment in Medford next Wednesday! This means we are likely going to be released following Amiras procedure tomorrow (although she is sick for a day or two following this particular chemo). Im very nervous about leaving care here and travelling home, especially after the fever scare earlier this week, but so, so, so excited! We have been away from home for 6 weeks and three days, and thats been a long, long time for us. Thanks, Drax, we love this version, and every time I think of heading home, I know its going to be bittersweet when we leave. Cant to wait to journey home, but I think we really needed to be here and say our goodbyes and really feel ready to go, even if when we go, we may not be able to come back again. I think were ready.
