Scary Thoughts: The Rude Chronicles… |Special Guest Writer Jessie Rude American Patriot Publications| 01/29/2014 Where do the Ukraine protests leave us? Here is another thing the main stream media has said NOTHING about. Behind the scenes, Russia has been trying to dismantle the EU economy, form its own Eurasian Economy Union (EEU), and reform the Soviet Block. Back in 2011, Putin revised a plan for the EEU, in which time he has already gotten Belarus and Kazakhstan to sign the agreement. Currently, the EEU will not succeed. They have all the natural resources needed through Russia and Kazakhstan, however they do not have the population or GDP. This is where Ukraine comes in. Ukraine, also a former state of the USSR, has that population. The three nations currently involved have a combined population of around 165 million people and a $2.3 trillion GDP. Add in Ukraine and Georgia and you would get around 205 million people and $2.5 trillion GDP. Armenia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan are also in talks with Russia on joining the EEU. Other nations such as Turkey and Finland are potential members of the EEU. Ukraine, already a member of the EU, must now decide if they stick with the failing EU, or to jump ship to Russia for a more stable economic Union. Turkey, which at one point was denied entry into the EU, may have some resentment towards the EU and fall under Russias wing. As scary as this is to say, we may be looking at the reformation of the Soviet Union as early as next year. This is when Putin plans to put the EEU into effect. Putin himself said that the fall of the U.S.S.R. was a genuine tragedy and the the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century. businessinsider/eurasian-union-map-2013-12 |Jessie.
