Scary experience!! While Chase & Kylee are on vacation we are dog sitting. We have 2 dogs & they have 2 boxers. 1 small & 1 large. While I was in my studio they came to visit & then went back out on my deck. I thought they would go to the door & go in the house but they decided to run around the pool which was covered with a solar blanket. The small one decides to run across the cover & falls in ( the deep end) This is night time without much light around the pool.I am running down my steps shouting for Jack. By the time I get to where she is she disappears. I throw back some of the cover & cant find her. I look up & see her on the other side of the pool (the shallow end)trying to get out. When I get there she manages to get on the cover & together we get her out. Through this whole ordeal I have been screaming for help & Jack is watching tv & does not hear me. Other than shaking from head to toe, racing heart and skinned knees I survived this ordeal. Lexie is fine. Lesson learned dont leave dogs around covered pool.
