Scary story of a delayed response time experienced last night in the Shepparton area as told by Sarah: This crisis needs to be fixed! Last night I had to call an ambulance for my partner who was suffering severe chest pains. Was told an ambulance was on the way, only to wait 45 minutes to then be called back and told to find another way to the hospital, as the services were, and I quote tied up Upon arrival to the emergency department at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton, there were 5 ambulances ramped there, also passing one leaving as we arrived. That 45 minutes could have meant a life or death situation for my partner, were just bloody lucky it ended up being nothing serious! #springst #ambulancecrisis
