Scary stuff - As of end of March 2014, 27 children have been paralyzed by polio in Syria Because Im nosey I now understand that vaccine combinations arent what they used to be for children. But Im not convinced that the biggies - MMR & Polio, Hep and Flu shots arent valuable. Im also not convinced that we as a society are at the end of our technical abilities to address parents concerns. Sure everything has risk, and yes the majority if anti-vaccine information is corrupt and based on pseudo-science, and quite frankly gossip, but whats the harm in addressing the fears people have about trusting big pharma? It looks like a political problem to me, if herd immunity has been negatively impacted here because of parents concerns not being addressed.
