Scavenger Datsun update : I was able to complete the rear end assembly today. The leaf springs were scavenged from another kit. Spring end rollswere added . I drilled out the pumpkin and inserted evergreen rod. Ever green tube replaced the original tubes for a cleaner appearance. Shackles were made from evergreen sheet stock. I like to get the basic mechanics done first before I worry about clean up. The shackles will get detail attention before paint. Next I will tackle the front end and set ride height . This will require new king pins as the kit pieces were broken and one was missing.
