Scenario 1: So you pick up the phone dial 911, and after spending several minutes requesting assistance, how long will it take the police to arrive. How long do you have before that intruder bursts into your room? If the cops arrive with the intruder in your home, will the intruder hold you and your family hostage? If the intruder harms you and your family, and leaves you for dead, how long will it take for the police and ambulance to arrive to attempt to save the lives of you and your family? Scenario 2: So you pick up your gun and the intruder sees that you are armed, will he flee? If he does not flee, can you hold him at gun point while waiting for the police to arrive? If the intruder does not surrender and you have to use deadly force, how long will it take for the police and ambulance to arrive to take the intruder away? Which will you choose?
