Scene 2 After getting into the underground tunnel to take the bus to the office, I saw the usual buskers, but I heard no singing only the drum beat, I walked up close and saw the gentlemen, with his harmonica away from his mouth and him sleeping with his mouth wide open. Sigh, being blind and singing for a living and to see sheer tiredness........I felt sad Walking a few steps, I saw another old malay gentlemen selling tissues, and he looked like a had a huge bag to collect money. He had one leg amputated and he was standing. Curious as I am, I walked closer and noticed that it was not a bag. but a huge cyst, the size of one a half football, sticking out of his body, and he had cut a hole in his shirt, to allow the cyst space . I was torn and felt helpless.....and walked on by..... But then I suddenly stopped, and it dawned," annu , you idiot, you have been waiting for empowerment and you are the CEO of Agency of Life Empowerment, you talk India, Philippines and Sri Lanka, time or Singapore. you can do something about this woman!!". Thank God, my inner voice roars and does not whimper. I turned back, took out my card,, went to the man, introduced myself and told him to meet me. And yes we are and I am looking forward to this folks. A new day, I guess to step into what your calling is and reframing your mind for this new journey in my life...in community work, happened to me at the tunnel. Who said there is light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes folks , a thunder bolt hits you in the tunnel. hahahaha
