Scentsy independant consultant - Seem some are confused and think I sell candles ............ Nope there are no flames or fumes . Like photo shows these are warmers which WARM the wax with a hot plate , the wax is cool enough to dip your finger in and will NOT burn you and Sophie loves doing this demonstration for me at partys and I wouldnt allow my daughter to put her fingers near something harmful , it is just warm enough to give off the scent . The hot plate obviously get hot but unlike another brand it do not make the wax so hot it spit wax out of the dish . It is not heated by a bulb as EU regulations wont approve that system here in the UK and the light is a LED bulb for decorative use only This is why these are described as wickless and safer than candles The 2nd photo compare costs as some think £25 is a lot but if you read you will see after the initial purchase of your favourite warmer this system works out lots cheaper Those who give it a go dont turn back to candles ,its just a fairly new system to the UK so many do not quite understand them as yet I am near Swaffham Norfolk but happy to travel if you would like a party .
