Schedule snapshot: Thursday: 9 am - 11 am, answer email. 11 am - 3:30 pm, write and assemble titles for upcoming content. 3:30 - 8:30 pm, edit article. 8:30 pm to 3:30 am, prep for editorial meeting. Sleep from 4 am to 8 am. Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, finish prep for editorial meeting. 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, editorial meeting via conference call. 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, fall asleep in chair. 6:00 pm to 3:00 am, edit article, begin column draft. Sleep from 3:00 am to 7:00 am. Saturday: 7:00 am, check site to make sure it updated properly. From then until noon, answer email, private messages, etc that have accumulated since Thursday. Noon to 2:00 PM, fall asleep. 2:00 pm, resume work on column, until 2:00 am. Sleep from 3:00 am until 7:00 am. Sunday: 7:00 AM. Oversleep for 90 minutes. 8:30 am, check site to see that it updated properly. Update editorial calendar to reflect last-minute changes. Do emergency task that a contractor neglected to do, for unknown reasons. Assign edits to freelance editors. 2:15 pm, write this Facebook post. Now just need about another 12 hours to finish my column and my weekend will be over, and my work week will begin.
