Schnauzer mommas need your help! Here is how fostering can turn a dogs life around in just a short time. We really need your help to find special homes (and foster homes) for these schnauzers. If you are interested in fostering or adopting please email: [email protected] These dogs came from horrid conditions..seized in a puppy mill/neglect bust, they arrived to Rocket Dog terrified.. They were matted, filthy, weak from dehydration, over-bred (even the very elderly were still pregnant..) These dogs had never been petted, hugged, touched or spoken to in kindness by a human .. After spending a few days being cared for by a vet, shaved, vaccinated and fixed, we went to work getting these little broken souls into safe foster homes. The puppies were first to recover and went into amazing homes this past Wednesday.. As each puppys adoption paperwork was completed and they were handed to their new guardians we were all so struck by all that they were spared. They would not grow up with the same horror they were born into... They have the promise of a bright new life with soft warm blankets and so much love .. Now, its time for the momma dogs, the breeder dogs, to find the same sweet loving homes.. They are still so fearful, and really..who wouldnt be..? They need us to show them what true compassion and love feels like.
